TabTidy ("the App") is a Safari Web Extension that helps you organize, deduplicate, and group your browser tabs. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the App handles and how.

Data Collection

TabTidy does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. Specifically:

• No analytics or tracking services are used.
• No user accounts or login are required.
• No data is sent to third-party services.
• No advertising SDKs are included.

Data Processed Locally

The App processes the following data entirely on your device:

• Tab information: URLs, titles, and positions of your open Safari tabs are read to perform grouping and duplicate detection. This data is never transmitted off your device.
• Settings: Your grouping preferences are stored locally in the app's extension storage and App Groups (shared between the Safari extension and the iOS companion app).
• Sessions: Saved tab sessions are stored in the browser's local extension storage.

Apple Intelligence

The App offers an optional AI-powered tab organization feature using Apple's on-device Foundation Models (iOS 26+). This processing occurs entirely on your device using Apple Intelligence. No tab data is sent to Apple or any cloud service for this feature.

Third-Party Services

TabTidy does not use any third-party services, APIs, or SDKs that collect user data.

Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13 years of age.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
